Today you're listening to Episode 102 and I'm talking with Kim Conley.

Kim is a two-time Olympian, she ran in the 2012 and the 2016 Olympics in the 5K.

I don't know if you guys remember but in 2016 she was actually planning on going in the 10K

and she lost her shoe during that race and decided to step out and compete,

to put all of her eggs in the 5K basket and ended up making that team in the 5K.

So that was a really cool story. We also get a little bit personal with the loss of her father in 2015

where I feel a little bit emotional when she talks about that since we recently lost my mother-in-law.

So I really like it when interviews take a turn that I'm not expecting and people open up about things that are important to them.
