Oh my gosh, I was soooo nervous recording this one! + If you know my style, I am typically not trying to talk about myself or my story. I have made this podcast and our family here together as a place to talk about OUR struggles and triumphs as women. I never want to make it about me. + The thing is...the other day when I went LIVE on my Instagram and decided to share how I personally got married by the Sunnah, you guys went crazy!! You were private messaging me and leaving me sweet voice messages all about how you loved me sharing and wanted to hear more. + Some of you even ended up hearing about my story, but didn't get to listen to it personally and asked me to reshare. In the end, I realized that this topic just might have to earn a spot on the podcast....but with one condition. It wasn't just MY story. What good is a love story about one person? + I had wanted to do a podcast all along where a guy comes on and gives his "2 cents" on finding love in modern times. Never in a million years did I think that "that guy" would be my husband. But...I did it. I mustered up the courage to ask him to make an appearance and he reluctantly obliged. + So, without further ado, here is our story. Just two people minding their own business who happened to fall in love. Actually, just fall into marriage but...the longer we married, the stronger and stronger our love grew. Til this day, his is the man of my dreams and more than I ever could have asked for.
