I'm your host, Natalie Lou, and I am 40. Well hello there guys. Technically at the time of recording this

episode I am less than 48 hours away from turning 40.

Yes, on the day this episode comes out, which will be the 28th of July 2017 I will be 40 but I thought you know what there's time to try this on I

I'll say it again I am 40. Now if any of you were like my husband when he turned 40 he was like

yeah I'm so excited about turning 40.

He's like I'm looking forward to have more gray hairs.

I don't know what he's on because as some of you will know if you've listened to this podcast,

a few times even if you've read the blog going back a while.

I have in the past definitely freaked out about having some grey hairs.

And yeah, he was totally different. He was in a totally different head space to where I have been at about turning 40.

When I thought about what to talk about on this episode, I was like, well, do I do what I normally do, you know,

focus on a topic and talk about that,

not bother to address 40 this week, or do we talk about 40? And I decided to go with the latter.

I am here. That's a message that came to me last week when I was feeling a mix of grief.

You know I still have, it is only a few months, my up and down days with this whole grief thing.

And yeah, frustration and I don't know, suddenly giving myself a hard time. I was having a weird week for sure last week because by the time I got to the weekend I was like, oh, geez, like what the hell was going on there. But yeah, I, but my head was a bit all over the place last

week and then I heard these three words, I am here. I want to talk a bit about what that means.

When I was a little girl, I would sing and flex out to Prince's 1999.

It seemed so far away.

Like 1999 seemed like it was way off in the future and I would try to think about

what our lives would be like when it was 1999 and I was like it's going to be like in the Jetsons.
