Hello and welcome to another episode of the show. I know I've said this before, but it is good to be back.

I hadn't realized how much I'd missed recording the show. This week is another one-sy, as in, it's a one-topic show.

What I want to focus on this week is really about attraction, more actually about why we fancy

somebody, why we feel attracted to somebody. Specifically, the impact of

societal and personal conditioning are not just who we're interested in,

but our actual perception of what interest constitutes in the first place.

I also want to talk about why we overthink our interest and you know how to

recognize you know if we're interested or not and also delve a little bit into

what we're sort of going through when we don't reciprocate

someone's interest but we still keep seeing them, but also why we sometimes take

it really badly when someone doesn't fancy us back.

Now I've actually been thinking about doing this episode for a little while because I was

out one day and I bumped into a friend of mine and she has been seeing this really lovely guy. Now I haven't to know that he's

lovely because I've actually met him myself outside of the context of her and

him. Anyway we were chatting away and she seemed, you know, really happy and

upbeat and then she turns around and she's like, I'm not sure if I fancy him.

And I was like, well, what makes you think that? She went on to explain that normally

she doesn't feel the way that she's feeling, you know, or how she was feeling at that particular time.

And that this person's at that particular time.
