| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast. |
| 0:05.0 | I have the incredible Haley with me. |
| 0:07.6 | Haley, how are you? |
| 0:09.1 | I'm good. |
| 0:10.4 | Yes. |
| 0:11.0 | What day is it today, Tuesday? |
| 0:13.7 | Just the thick of it, just in the thick of a busy week. |
| 0:16.8 | What about you? |
| 0:18.2 | Yeah, same. |
| 0:19.0 | It's been a long day. |
| 0:20.3 | It's quite productive though. I've been getting up really early and, like, doing a couple hours in the co-work before I then start work. But then I do think you get to, like, 4 or 5pm and you're like, I'm done. I'm done now. But you're not still things to do. I was thinking about this earlier. I was thinking like there's always, I don't think I ever get to the bottom of my to do list ever. Well, actually, Amelia said this once and it's always stuck in my head and I'm like, you know when someone says such an obvious thing? And then you're like, why have I never thought about that? She was like, as a business only you'll never be done. Like you're never, you're never like, oh, I'm actually finished everything. There's always, always something else you can do. And I mean, that's probably true for most people, but specifically, like, I'd never been like, there's literally nothing else that I could be doing or should be doing or need to be doing. At some point, you just have to draw a line at the end of the day and be like, and then I'll pick it up again tomorrow. It's always that, yeah. |
| 1:15.3 | Yeah. Yeah. We're being really strict with ourselves. We're doing the girls' bedrooms. And so |
| 1:21.4 | between seven and eight every night this evening this week is going to be, even if it's just one box that we fill, |
| 1:30.3 | even if it's just one thing we do in that bedroom, something has to be done every single night this week with their bedroom so that it gets us ready. |
| 1:37.8 | Because if we leave it to the weekend, we've got to do all of that and then try and get the room decorated in that time just doing one little thing |
| 1:46.1 | for an hour every night's week you'll get more done than what you think as well i think that's a |
| 1:51.2 | tip for like anything i've been doing it with writing it's like you have to start even if you're |
| 1:56.9 | into 30 minutes and then you end up doing more but even it's just like one tiny little thing or one like, okay, we just moved a load of stuff out of the bedroom, but we didn't start doing anything else. Like that, it just, yeah, then it becomes so much easier when you actually sit down to have a bit more time on. But I have been feeling quite smug by lunchtime. |
| 2:19.6 | What, by getting so much done? |
| 2:26.8 | Yeah, I'm like, oh, okay, I'm a little bit tired, but I do feel quite smug because I've been, you know, getting up early and getting stuff done. |
| 2:28.9 | Yeah, I do love that feeling. |
| 2:30.4 | I really love it. |
