Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. Today I'm going to cover one of the most

0:06.5

common situations that I help women with. I get messages like this numerous times a day and essentially

0:12.9

they're along the lines of I'm doing everything the same but now that I'm over 40 I can't lose weight.

0:19.3

This is unbelievably, unbelievably common and is a reality

0:23.5

for a lot of women that they feel like they're doing all of the same things, but now it's not

0:27.9

working for them anymore. And it feels much harder. And what worked before doesn't have the same

0:32.5

result that they used to get. And you're bombarded with messaging on social media telling you that

1:27.0

about yourself and looking for solutions and a way

1:29.7

out, you are much more susceptible to messaging like this. So to be clear, one, I get it. I know why

1:39.9

you're looking for those solutions. And two, it genuinely is harder and it is different,

1:46.6

but not for the reasons that you're being taught. And this understanding is really important because

1:52.6

this is where your power to actually get the results that you want and your power to change

1:57.6

lives. So although a lot of this messaging is packaged up in feminism and

2:04.0

women are underheard narrative or I've been there to kind of vibe and we, I don't know,
