Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast, which I am recording as a pep talk to my clients who are starting Commit 6 today.

So it's a bit of tough love, but also an empowering and inspiring pet talk.

I've broken it down into six points.

And before I get to those, I just want to say that this should not be seen as another fresh start.

This is you committing to yourself. This is you committing to yourself.

This is you deciding to stop winging it and allowing your progress to be reliant on motivation

or luck or perfect timing or all the conditions being absolutely right for you to hit everything

without having to try and it all just lines up perfectly.

Instead, you're committing to not quitting, which is the first point that I'm going to make today.

So number one is don't quit. This is the first and only commitment that I need you to make.

This only works as in the process of actually finally getting results

and maintaining results only works if you show up when you feel like quitting, when it's boring,

when motivation is low, when the initial excitement has passed. And the first sort of couple of

weeks on a diet are normally quite easy. You know,

energy is high, meditation is high. But the real change, the real impact happens after that when it's

not as exciting, when you are tired, when you're a little bit bored of the process, when the

scales are being annoying and there's a fluctuation that you didn't expect,

when life gets busy and throws something at you. And yet you still prioritise sticking to your non-negotiables because they are commitments that you've made, both to yourself and to us.
