If you're putting a reputation above a child's well-being, so it was a minor, at the time I went in as a

minor, then something is very, very often I have to stand as my own advocate for once,

terrified out of my mind, but like something deep within was like, look, if you don't,

if you don't correct this while your brain is developing at this stage, like it's going to be,

it's just going to increase the length of time perhaps that you get to undo certain patterns

and anytime as possible. If you're a kid like me who grew up in the 1990s and early 2000s,

then you probably know who my next guest is. Alison Stoner was the cute little girl from the

Missy Elliott work at video. She then went on to do sitcoms on the Disney Channel like Sweet Life

as Akin Cody and eventually made it onto the big screen and the movie cheaper by the dozen.

What we saw on the surface is exactly that, what we saw on the surface. Underneath, Alison was

dealing with lots of societal pressure and that eventually led to disordered eating and other

various addictions for which she has now been in recovery from for many years. It was so nice when

I stumbled across Alison's various social media channels and saw the way that she had transformed

her life and taken the challenges that she's faced and turned them into something really positive.
