Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast. Guess what? It's December. I know, wild.

Absolutely wild. And that means that a lot of people are probably stressing out about quote

topic so here goes or actually do you know what there are so many incredible podcasts I'm going to

take that back partly because I know that I've encouraged hundreds of coaches this year to start

podcasts and they're all incredible. So I take that part back but here's my thoughts

on navigating Christmas. Maybe that's a better frame for it. This time of year is often

when people fall off track with their goals and the biggest I, or the biggest piece of advice I would give

is to go into December with intent no matter what your goals are. Right. So take a little bit

time to sit down and kind of think, what do I want to achieve over the next month? Quite honestly,

this is great advice for every single month of the year, but especially right now. And the key thing that I want you to avoid is

feeling like crap in December, or at any point, but specifically December. There is nothing more

fatiguing and demotivating and demoralising and just generally like puts a drain

on your life than holding yourself to expectations that you genuinely have no intention of meeting.

Like having these really big goals that actually you're not willing to put in the work into

do. So there's nothing worse than not reaching your fat loss goal while compounding that by beating yourself up and not reaching that goal.

Instead of just going in with the intent of, I don't intend to lose fat in December.

If you don't intend to, and I will come on to that shortly because if you want to lose fat in December, it's absolutely possible.
