Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. I am recording this at 7.20 p.m.

Which for me is very, very late in the day. So I'm sorry if my brain isn't as good as it normally is.

to accept it is kind of the end of summer. I know, Yeah, well, we're here. And if you're anything

like me and most of my clients, you probably, I hope, had a pretty awesome summer, lived

your life. Maybe the kids are off school. Maybe you've been on holiday. Maybe you've been on

numerous holidays. Maybe you've been busy making memories, travelling around, and hey, maybe you've also eaten a little bit more,

trained a little bit less, and I kind of feel like rightly so, right, you had different priorities.

Different priorities come up at different times when the kids are off school.

Shockingly, your own training and fitness and your diet being exactly on point probably isn't a key priority. Fine. But making memories is also fine. Now, when most people go wrong with this is I completely agree with all that,

right? 100% all down for living your absolute best life. But what most people forget is to do,

like what I term, a bit of a reset. Because basically what's happened is your behaviours have swayed a little bit

but if you don't reset they kind of continue to drift away from the actions that are in line

with your goals and this is totally natural and somewhat inevitable as you kind of live your life but that's why resets are so useful and I've

heard this I was speaking about this on a live recently and someone was like oh yeah it's the

behavioral drift but when I googled that nothing nothing like this came up anyway, I thought it was quite a good way to put it.

Like you have this kind of drift.
