Why do we get so stressed out by tricky coworkers?

I recently held a workshop here in London about reclaiming

romantic relationships and parental ones, at the top of the list by far was how to deal

with work situations and still have your self-esteem and basically not lose your mind.

When we go to work, what we do have to remember

is that we actually spend a hell of a lot of our time there.

It's actually very possible that we spend more time

with our coworkers than we do with our loved ones.

And this in itself tells us why we get so upset and frustrated

because we're spending a hell of a lot of time with these people and it is burdensome and

draining and exhausting and quite distracting from the job at hand.

This can be particularly frustrating if we actually love the job that we do

and we love the company that we work for, we're just not too crazy about this person

that we're having to deal with. And when I talk about tricky people, I mean like your passive

aggressives and your aggressives. So passive aggressive people are very

skilled at masking, resentment and anger.
