I'm a slight niggle in the soul of my foot and wondering if that is related or not. Well, I would say if you were doing an exercise where you needed to be

stable and flat to the ground, then like exercise like squats and deadlifts, you might prefer to have flat shoes on.

If you've got running shoes, what they tend to do is they want you to be in the ball of your feet,
