Okay, today's episode is about an observation that I've made or has been made

clear to me, which is that a lot of the people that work with me end up getting promotions

or new jobs. And a lot of them have attributed that to coaching. I'm certainly not taking credit here.

It is absolutely their work, their incredible success, okay?

But there is an element of something about the coaching, pushing people to, I guess, reach their own potential.

And it made me think, okay, what are the elements of coaching that do that?

So I've come up with what I think are a few. The first one being confidence. And that's because

for most people that I work with, in fact, okay, for most people, fat loss is really hard. Now, most of my

clients have been struggling with fat loss their whole lives, right? People come to me having

yo-yo dieted for 30, 40 years. And achieving hard things builds confidence, especially if it's something you've been struggling

with for such a long time.

And doubly on that, double down on that, I don't know, whatever, even more important to

that is when you're achieving something that is so personal to you.

So it is your own body. And feeling like you don't

have control of your own body or that you keep tripping up on these diets or that you're not

able to change it really negatively impacts your confidence and then achieving it obviously

does the opposite. And right off the back of that, maybe it's kind of packaged into the same thing,

is self-belief. So continuously feeling, and I want to emphasise feeling, like you're letting yourself down or failing on fad diet after fad diet, can really wreck the belief that you have in yourself to achieve hard
