This problem is pretty universal and you can apply this technique to all areas of your life but obviously I'm

going to apply it to fitness and fat loss and just generally improving your life so this is what

happens an action or stimulus or situation arises and then your belief or interpretation of that action,

situation or stimulus results in a given reaction from you. So this model of behaviour is known as

the ABC model and is used in cognitive behavioural therapy. So the A stands for action, the B stands for belief, and the C stands for consequence.

So the basic idea behind this ABC model is that external events, A, the action, do not cause

emotions, C, the consequence, but beliefs, and in particular, like,

irrational beliefs cause the consequence or cause the emotions. So, in other words, it's your belief

about an action that is the problem, not the action itself. Or another way of thinking about

consequences are not directly determined by life events a the action or the event but rather by the way

that these events are cognitively processed and evaluated, right? So be the belief.
