Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. I'm going to talk about one of my

0:06.8

favourite topics this week, which is impatience. And I'm going to talk about how you can use it as an

0:15.1

advantage. And this was spurred on from a conversation I had with a new one-to-one client this weekend.

0:22.1

And she noted in her consultation form that she was impatient and competitive. I don't know why I found that

0:28.8

word so hard to say. She was impatient and competitive. And so am I and I actually think that

0:34.8

most people are, but it just manifests in different ways.

0:39.6

1:13.7

an advantage depending on how you see them and how you channel your energy and thus your actions.

1:21.7

And a point I want to make is that a lot of people describe themselves as impatient as if they

1:26.4

are the only people that are impatient or as if they are more impatient than other people, right? Same ways people describe themselves as impatient as if they are the only people that are impatient or as if they are more impatient than other people, right?

1:30.3

Same way as people describe themselves as hungrier, which could actually be true.

1:34.3

And same with like you could be more impatient than someone else.

1:36.3

But the truth is, everybody feels impatient, everyone, just like everybody feels hunger.

1:41.3

It's not the reason that people aren't, like, are or aren't getting results.
