this episode. Hello everyone, welcome to this episode. I have a question for you. Have you

ever considered that you are not the problem that actually the environment is. Now, many people that

listen to much of the podcast will be like, aren't you all about ownership? So a more realistic

assessment of this is that your interaction with the environment is the problem, not inherently you. And sometimes

this is quite a helpful way to look at things. So let me explain here. You don't inherently overeat.

So you don't overeat in certain environments. Basically, you don't overeat if there is not the opportunity to.

And you usually overeat when you have an abundance of food around you and nothing to do. Right?

It's the situation that causes the behaviour. So it's the combination of food availability and essentially lack of

purpose that tends to cause overeating. And I don't mean lack of purposes in like the grand

scheme of things like your deep sense of life purpose, but more purpose in the moment.

So essentially, when you have nothing else to do, or, and this is the point really that I'm going to get to,

you're telling yourself that you have nothing else to do. Like, there is always something to do.
