Okay, habits.

The actions that you do consistently over time will shape your life. And it's actually the small,

seemingly inconsequential things that you do daily that count the most. Now, whether we define

these things as habits or as behaviours, I won't go into that today because sometimes I debate that

with myself. The point is, these can either drive you forward or they can hold you back. They can be your

best friend or your worst enemy. And for the sake of this podcast, I'm going to define habits like this.

Good habits are actions or behaviours that get you closer to your outcome goal. Bad habits are actions or behaviours that get you closer to your outcome goal.

Bad habits are actions or behaviours that pull you further from your outcome goal.

Now, you could on top of that, layer on top of that, and I quite like this,

that good habits are in line with your values or good actions or good behaviours are in line

with your values and bad ones are not in line with your values. And remember that your values will drive your goals. So breaking bad

habits and forming new ones is hard. I am sure that that's not news to anyone who has ever tried

to change a habit or a behaviour. And as usual, I have an analogy for this.
