Summary

Let me show you the beauty of imperfect action and convince you this is how you should live your life.

Learn to stop worrying so much about what could go wrong and start to build trust in yourself that you will do your best with whatever life throws at you.

...Inevitably we know that that is all we ever can do - yet we still hold ourselves to these unrealistic expectations and trip ourselves up.

Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast, where I'm going to be talking about probably my favourite topic, which is, to anyone who's listening, shouldn't be surprising if you've listened to maybe more than like three episodes, but in perfect action.

And I guess more broadly broadly the power of doing good enough

0:26.3

and why I think well one of the biggest barriers to me to like fully embracing that was that it

if you embrace imperfect action.

1:25.1

yourself that no matter what happens you will make the most out of it.

1:29.8

And by it, I mean like life.

1:32.6

And you will practice imperfect action.

1:34.7

I'm going to do the best I can in the situation I'm in.

1:37.2

That's all you can ever do anyway.

1:39.7

But it's embracing that instead of resisting that, instead of always worrying about what could go

1:44.0

wrong, instead of setting yourself about what could go wrong,

1:44.4

instead of setting yourself up for failure by creating these perfect expectations.

1:50.2

And one of the most common misconceptions here when I talk about imperfect action is that it
