0:39.1	doing a joint interview together for Laura over at Clubsoda and I got to hear a little bit of your
0:44.8	story, but it was like, oh man, I have to have Ella on and hear hear all the details. So thank you

0:54.5	of yours. So I'm happy to be on your podcast. So why don't you take us sort of back to the
1:01.6	beginning and you're a drinking story like where did it all begin for you? Sure. So I started drinking
1:09.3	kind of properly when I was about 17. So I'm British as you can probably tell from my accent,
1:15.6	I'm from London, born and raised and we have a very strong drinking culture here in the UK.
1:23.9	It's very much embedded within society. Any occasion, people have a glass of wine.
1:30.0	Pub culture is very big here, drinking after work and when I was 17, that's when I was in
1:37.0	that would have been like the final two years of high school. So that was sick form here in the UK
1:41.9	and that's when I started to go out with my friends and because I'm very tall, I'm nearly six foot,
1:47.9	I'd never got IDed because as you know, we can drink when we're 18 in the UK, but I started before
1:53.2	then and I very rapidly found that I could become a louder, more fun in inverted commas version of
2:02.5	myself that it gave me more confidence and I really liked the buzz that I got from alcohol.
2:07.4	So I went out a lot with my friends, had a good time. Some evenings were quite dramatic,
2:14.5	others less so and then I went to university and there's a really, really huge
2:20.0	drinking culture there. There's a thing called Freshers Week, I'm sure you have it at school in
2:26.0	the States as well and it's very much about going to different venues where you drink a particular
