For those of y'all who are new to the show on Fridays, I like to do short, really

0:29.0

kind of bite-sized episodes that are yours to simmer on, chew on, and carry into your weekend.

0:37.1

And this week, I want to talk about self-care.

0:39.3

Now wait before you roll your eyes and you're like, self-care. I get it. Listen, y'all,

Um, and I'm now at a place where I see self-care as not annoying, not I really at all,

2:05.6

but a completely necessary component of me showing up and being a human. Yeah. And what I want

2:14.1

to mention, the thing I want to settle on today for this episode is the simple

2:20.9

yet easy to forget idea that self-care is not a means to an end.

2:29.1

Self-care is not this like, oh, good idea to do when you're stressed out so that you can go back into
