Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast. Now I won't have to do an introduction.

0:08.4

Hi guys. It's Motivation Monday. Oh yeah. How is everyone?

0:25.1

Andy, how are you? I'm good. I think I need to turn my volume up because you're both very very quiet there we go yeah I'm good how about yourself Emma triggered me

0:33.6

this morning oh what would that mean yeah Yeah, I felt personally attacked. You're

0:40.1

basically saying that I'm old. And I did not say that...

0:44.4

I'm older because I've got a child now. I did not say that. Do you know, um, that post I put

0:51.2

about sleep seemed to trigger quite a lot of people.

0:59.8

Because I put this post up and it was it was showing this study that showed that people who got four hours sleep the next day ate way more. So it was about over 500 calories more than when

1:05.0

they slept for eight hours. And there was quite a lot of comments just being like, well we

1:09.6

can't all get eight hours sleep, so what we meant to do?

1:11.8

And I feel like the whole point of the post was, it makes you more hungry, be aware that you might be more hungry if you're not getting enough sleep.

1:20.6

1:27.8

surplus, thus you might put on weight. But it's funny that some people are quite like, I think

1:34.7

it's normally the difference between like fixed mindset and growth mindset. Oh, this is a problem.

1:39.4

I now understand why. I now understand what might happen if I'm not aware of this and I can change it

1:45.8

compared to well there's nothing I can do because I've got kids and they don't sleep so

1:49.4

must mean that I'll just stay overweight forever you're so right check yourself or you

1:57.8

wreck yourself I think it's like what I've noticed is that you can post like because obviously the nature

2:05.1

of Instagram like we've all got these like really long captions and there's so much nuance in

2:10.1

the caption.
