| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast. Today I would like to talk about |
| 0:07.8 | who I work with and I obviously work with a broad range of clients with different wants, |
| 0:14.4 | different needs, but the people who I work with who I don't know if I think that the way to say it is who I enjoy working with the most, |
| 0:25.6 | but maybe who I feel I can help the most and who I am most passionate about working with |
| 0:32.3 | are the people who feel like, the people who have almost given up, who feel like they've been dieting |
| 0:40.7 | for their whole life and not getting the results that they want, or who feel like they're constantly |
| 0:46.9 | on and off a diet. And I want to show them that it doesn't have to be like that. And my whole ethos around coaching |
| 0:56.0 | is making it the last plan you ever need, the last diet you ever need. And I don't like saying |
| 1:03.2 | the last diet you ever need because it still has the icky connotations of dieting. Like it's so much |
| 1:07.0 | more than that. But it's the understanding, the empowerment and the support to make |
| 1:12.1 | sure that you don't need to jump on another fad diet. You won't have to, this doesn't have to be |
| 1:16.9 | the next thing that you feel like you failed at, because this is different. And I think what made |
| 1:23.0 | me think about this is I've just been reading a hell of a lot of feedback from the EC method. |
| 1:28.0 | And I'm going to read some of it out to you, because if this sounds like you, you're exactly the |
| 1:32.8 | people that we want to work with. So, here's one. I knew I had to finally take control of my weight, |
| 1:42.1 | but I was lost and unsure how to do this. I've done dieting in the past |
| 1:46.0 | and had success, but then faltered and then gone into the effort bucket and gained even more weight |
| 1:51.5 | than when I started. However, by taking the plunge and finally understanding how to track calories |
| 1:57.1 | and understanding around food, how to maximise my training, but more importantly, |
| 2:02.0 | how to enjoy myself without feeling guilt and not throwing in the towel. This has changed |
| 2:08.9 | everything for me and I'm finally recognising myself again. And I think this encompasses everything. |
| 2:15.7 | It's the all or nothing mentality. It's the all-or-nothing mentality. |
