Welcome back to another froback Friday episode of Infants on Thrones where we hop into our time machine and resurrect some of our favorite episodes of old.

This one is actually a pretty weird one. For those of you familiar with Mike Tanahill, I really don't need to say anymore.

But for those of you not familiar, Mike was and is a faithful believing member of the LDS Church.

He started podcasting along with Tom and myself many many years ago back on the Mormon

Expression podcast and we've had him on infants on

thrones a couple of times as well. You may remember him as the

unintentional racist from one of our first sort of smackdowns of the race and

priesthood essay from LDS.org

well the Abrahamic covenant is very important to Mike and back in the day

he would refer to it over and over again but he never really had a chance to explain what it was or why it was so important to him.

So this episode was my attempt to give him that platform and to give him the lead on an episode for once and let him talk about whatever he wanted to talk about.

It was probably the last time we ever did that as well, partly because he opened up our discussion with a prayer like Elderskorm that I thought it was pretty funny but

some listeners at the time found it somewhat jarring so consider this a warning in advance

anyway this episode features myself, Tom and Scott back in the day when he went

by Jesse, as well as our friend Brant Malone, who some of you may know from the Mormon Expositor

Podcast. Now this episode was recorded in

December 2010 and published in April 2011 so we're going back about five years

and if you've ever wondered about the Abrahamic Covenant and you wanted to hear a bunch of

pre-infants talk about stuff that doesn't completely make sense, then this is
