So one of my big mantras over the years for me has been, you know, make informed decisions by using data.

So the data that's in front of you should be the thing that you are using as a guide to help inform decision making.

It doesn't make the decision for you,

but it certainly is there to help guide

and provide as much factual perspective as possible.

I'll just give you a quick antidote

why that's become so ingrained in me.

Early on in my career I spent a few short years in the environmental business and I was doing a presentation

to the CEO of the company I worked for and we were doing a market analysis.

Talking about competitive situation, capacity in the market, whatnot.

And so during my presentation, I said, well, I think da da da da.
