Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast sponsored by me. I am buzzing this morning. I haven't slapsed very well. So maybe I might be quite

0:16.4

strange today. It's also last check-ins for Commit Six and the new Commit Six is about to start. So I'm always quite excited this weekend. It's also last check-ins for Commit 6 and the new Commit 6 is about to start. So I'm

0:23.2

always quite excited this weekend. It's like the changeover weekend. We've had some amazing

0:28.5

feedback and I've actually just sat for what's the time? 10, two hours doing one-to-one check-ins

0:36.3

and I am buzzing this morning. Like it will never,

0:41.7

I'm still waiting for like the novelty of how awesome it feels to get to coach people

0:47.3

to wear off. I mean, it's been 10 years. I wonder if that's going to come. I don't think

0:53.6

it'll ever be lost on me.

0:54.8

which means I will spend most of the weekend setting everyone up, reading everyone's information,

1:13.6

setting their first targets. So launch weekends are always pretty mad and also people like to

1:22.9

sign up for things last minute which I completely get because I would do exactly the same. Now, although

1:30.2

some of the physical results from the last intake had been so impressive, I really want to keep

1:38.3

emphasising that it's not all about that. And we actually spent the last week really focusing on how good exercise and dieting well

1:47.2

and fueling your body makes you feel as opposed to any external measure, whether that be the scales

1:54.8

or progress photos or even performance. None of those really matter in comparison to how you feel. And actually, another

2:04.9

important aspect is how much you've learned. I had a chat with a personal trainer this week.

2:12.5

And honestly, it was about some really quite basic nutrition information that you would certainly hope that quite clearly wasn't and should have been covered in their personal training course.

2:25.4

That's a rant for another day.

2:27.2

But it did make me think that our clients on Commit to Six genuinely have better basic nutrition knowledge than some personal trainers.

2:39.1

And I'm so proud of that.
