Today I thought I would do a bit of a Q&A for numerous reasons.

0:13.8

One, because I got some awesome questions and two, because I feel really rude when someone asks me a question and then don't answer them.

0:20.9

But I also don't want to have like a million stories on my Instagram.

0:25.5

And this gives me space to like elaborate on them a little bit more and give some context to them and explore them a bit.

0:32.5

So if you have recently asked me a question on Instagram, the likelihood is you're going to get a response

0:39.1

here today. So I'm going to try and get through as many of these as possible in the next

0:45.2

about 20 to 30 minutes of attention span that I have left for the day. It's been a very long day.

0:52.3

personal trainer is doing without knowing the context. So if, for example, you were like,

1:17.3

yeah, I've been trying to stick to 800 calories a day and your personal trainer's like,

1:22.2

you should probably eat more than I totally back them. What I don't back and what sometimes happens with smaller women

1:29.7

is a lot of the time people don't realize how much lower your needs can be if, for example,

1:36.9

you're only five foot tall. And so they're like, oh, I've got other clients that are also women,

1:41.5

that are also doing about the same as you. And they eat 1,800

1:44.5

calories and lose weight. And they're not really considering like your basal metabolic rate,

1:49.5

your needs at baseline. And that as a smaller person, you're going to need significantly less.

1:56.2

So I do have small women that I work with who do need to diet on low calories. And sometimes that is

2:04.3

as though it's like 1,400 calories, sometimes 1,300 calories, depending on what their goals are
