Summary

Moving away from a perfectionist mindset has quite literally changed my life (I am aware of how cheesy that sounds)

I discuss the impact of starting. How going from 0-1 is the hard part but is the part that causes the most impact.

How a perfectionist mindset holds you back in every area of your life and how to avoid it

If this doesn’t motivate you to start nothing will haha!

I hope this was useful. I would love to hear your thoughts @ESGfitness

spoken about this quite a few times before. But the more I do work on myself on this, the more I

1:05.2

realize how sounds so gimmicky, but like how transformative it has been for me.

And I see some of these like perfectionist traits in other areas of my life,

not just in relation to food and exercise, but just generally if you are someone who is quite a perfectionist, it usually affects

1:30.0

every area of your life. And dealing with that and catching yourself out doing it and changing

1:34.7

your mindset around that is so useful. Useful isn't like a big enough word, but it's the

1:41.2

word that's at the top of my head. And what I want to start with

1:45.2

is starting. And this is why I have so much respect for people who join Commit to Six or the EC

1:55.0

method or sign up for one-to-one coaching. Because starting is the hard part. Like starting with intent is the hard part I think a lot

2:04.7

of people do sign up to things almost in the like mind frame of oh I just sign up to this and

2:11.0

hopefully I'll just lose weight because I've signed up to a program like people who start with the
