Gaining weight after a diet when trying to build muscle is something that a lot of people stress out about

(especially us women)

Most can accept that they need to be in a surplus for significant hypertrophy yet don't want to gain weight.

In this podcast I go through how much weight you can expect to gain (using myself as an example and also people starting from higher body fat levels)

I discuss what the optimal body fat% is for building muscle,

Realistic rates of muscle growth,

The mindset around building muscle and that it may feel uncomfortable- lean into discomfort.
