Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast.

So it's Saturday morning and this makes me sound like such a loser but I mean, I kind of am.

So we're just going to have to roll with it.

I spent a lot of time this morning reading about ketones and ketosis and

ketogenic diets, which was fascinating. I was actually out like outwardly, outwardly. I was

purposefully looking for pros because I know a lot of the cons already.

And I felt I had a bit of a bias towards like don't do ketogenic diet.

So I was actively looking for information to question my personal bias,

which I think is something we should all do more. Anyway, there's been a bit of a

social media blow up about ketones. And this isn't new, but it's come up a lot in the last week.

So I thought I would cover it. And I thought I would cover both sides. And I want to

start by saying I have no personal agenda here and I am more than happy to be proven wrong. I don't

have an ego about this. I like that isn't what being evidence based or evidence led is about.

And it said actually a really fascinating area of research,

and I'm really interested to see what comes out in the next couple of years,

which we would delve into during this podcast.
