Hey guys, so I am going to be talking today about the

link between sugar and mental health, specifically anxiety, depression, mood swings, but also other

mood disorders.

And I'm feeling a little, I guess, serious about this topic because I think it is very serious

and I think we are at a really critical place where we need to take mental health more

seriously and I want to obviously state that I am not a mental health professional.

I do feel very strongly that there is an incredibly strong link between nutrition and mental health

that many people have ignored and I do believe that a big part of the reason we are in such

a state of crisis with mental health is because we don't give a damn about what we put in

our bodies and that has absolute consequences on our brain and our mental stability.

But I am not a mental health professional and I just want to say because I was deeply

depressed when I was very much heavier and I understand how dark that can be and how

scary that can be and before we get into how nutrition has a role in mental health and

what we can do about it, I want to just say that things can get better and things will

get better and sometimes it's really hard to see that but I just want to encourage anybody

who is feeling like there isn't hope that please, please it is safe to reach out to somebody

even if that somebody is me and I will do everything my power to help you or help you connect

with somebody who can help you in a more professional setting, in a more clinical setting.
