You know, I just kept drinking, though, for a few more months, and somebody mentioned to me, I'll take you to a meeting, just come to a meeting.

I had talked to that person Thanksgiving night when my husband was passed out.

I was angry about it.

You know, the party was over.

The alcohol wasn't doing anything anymore.

I wasn't having fun.

I was just miserable.

I don't even think I was feeling buzzed at that point.

You know, if I got up quickly, maybe. But other than that, I just felt just, ugh. It was just awful. I don't even know how to put it into words.
