I hated who I was. I hated who I was even then. But when I had that first drink, it all lifted.

And I didn't even realize how bad I felt until I felt good. And of course, I didn't become a chronic

alcoholic at eight or ten years old, right? But that developed a pattern of binge drinking. So I was like a binge

alcoholic.
