The idea for today is more of an Alan thought because it was a good opportunity for me to talk about my issues with people in active addiction, people in my family who scared the hell out of me.

And you'll hear this in a couple of weeks,

but on the day we're taping this,

I put an Instagram and Facebook post out there saying,

hey, give us some ideas on what you want us to talk about

in terms of dealing with the active alcoholic.

And I got a little bit of a derailer

here, but this is really good. This is from Daniel M. And Daniel M says, hey guys, my name's

Danielle. I'm eight years sober. I'm eight years sober. How about that? And lately in our meetings,

we've had this one guy come into the rooms drunk, beyond disruptive.

I could go on and on about where my head was and why I need a meeting.

I was actually chairing the first time he showed up.

He's been coming around for years sober and not sober.

Anyway, being the only woman in the meeting, I really didn't feel comfortable doing anything,
