we're coinciding the vaccine awareness week with the ridiculous push for flu vaccines to just make sure that you're aware of this because you're going to be inundated in virtually every public place you go to your grocery store, your pharmacy pharmacy hopefully not going to the pharmacy

but a pharmacy airport at your fly they're going to say get did you get your flu

vaccine so we're going to go in deep into that now, but we're going to also get an update on what's happened in the last year. So welcome and thank you for joining us.

Well, thank you so much. Yeah, you're right. We are absolutely inundated in the flu season at the

begin the flu season with advertisements for flu vaccine. And I think what a lot of

people don't stop to think about in the midst of all this advertising is that

vaccinologists, vaccinologists develop vaccines and vaccinology is called the science of vaccines.

So vaccinologists do not understand how vaccines cause immunity in the body.

They don't understand how an infection causes immunity in the body. So they've always

had a problem with making vaccines that are effective and also that are safe because they don't understand the biological mechanisms for vaccine injury and death.

And this is especially true for influenza vaccine because influenza virus mutates rapidly it's constantly

changing so there are different strains that are circulating every

year they have to guess which strains are going to be prevalent in any given year and the

vaccine manufacturers then are in a race to develop these annual seasonal flu vaccines. But before we even talk about influenza vaccines,

what a lot of people don't know is the majority of respiratory illness out there every year. of other types of respiratory viruses and bacterial infections that cause respiratory influence

a nucleus.

Most common cold, which is why it's called the common cold, you know,

with these viral infections primarily,

but not the flu virus.

Right, over 80% of the suspected influenza

specimens that are sent in for lab confirmation turn out to be due to other viruses and bacteria, not type A or B influenza.
