Now, we all know there is a phrase, trust me, I'm a doctor. Well, today's guest has to therefore be the most trusted

man around because he has been a TV doctor for years. I mean, since the 90s, you do the maths

on that. I worked with him for a long time when I was at GM TV. He is a total legend, but more than that,

he speaks the truth when it comes to health. He was someone we all listen to daily during the COVID

pandemic and now he is someone who is going to talk today on Run Pod about the benefits of

exercising. He is also a runner and he will give you plenty of reasons to go for a run yourself.

to speak to again. Oh, it's so nice to have you on. I mean, we worked together for a while,

but I don't see you very often at all now, so it's lovely to chat. Oh, it really, really is.

We miss you. And, you know, I remember those broadcasts we did together, they were fun. I know, yeah, we worked together, if you were listening now,

we were together on GM TV back in the day.

And there was always a reason to go on an OB.

So basically you'd be sent to go and film somewhere ridiculously early.

But it was always quite fun, really, wasn't it?

Oh, it was.

I mean, there have been places that I remember with great fondness

and sometimes with fright.

I mean, I remember standing on the shore of South Devon once, and it was minus five,

and there was a wind chill factor, added another minus 10.

And I had to do a live broadcast, and when they came to talk to me, I couldn't speak.
