And so today's guest is perfect to chat, all things motivational.

She even calls herself lazy girl running. But she is a running coach and personal

trainer. More than that, she loves running and I would never, ever, ever use the word lazy

to describe her at all. But here she is, lazy girl running. It's Laura Fountain. Hello there.

Hi-ya. Laura, can I say lazy? I mean, you are not lazy at all.

I look at you on social media and I'm like, right, there's nothing lazy about this at all.

Where did the lazy bit come from?

Well, when I first started running in 2008, I was, you know, I was late 20s and I had gone through life avoiding exercise at that point.

And from school, PE, I was always trying to get out of that and then avoided it as an adult.

So then I would definitely have referred to myself as lazy.

So kind of on social media, that's where the name came from.

I was lazy girl running. And then fast forward to 2013, I trained as a run leader and then

a run coach. And I started setting up groups out in the park for people to start running

0.5K. And I was thinking, oh, what shall I call

it? And I went through several names. And one of my friends said, why don't you just call it lazy

girl running? Because these are the people that are you, like six years ago. And they will

identify with that too. And they did. and people still come and come because they said,

I really, you know, the name kind of that resonated with me.
