every week. Well, this week's What to Watch list, Sandman, Sandman season two. I'm going to be talking

briefly about that with Roderick-Marrow. But in this space, Karen Hunter is awesome. I wanted to have a deeper dive into it because as I was watching the first couple of episodes of season two, I wanted to have this conversation. So as I was prepping for the show today with my producer, Tremal McKenzie, I was like, hey, are you watching this show? And you said yes. So I was like, can we talk about it?

And you said, yes, reluctantly, though. So let me welcome you back to the show, Tremel McKenzie.

Thanks for having me. Yeah. So for me, this season two, we're seeing the devil. So I'm a student

mythology. I studied Edith Hamilton in high school. I really got into both the Greek

and the Roman mythology, Zeus and all of the folk and Hades and the river sticks. And, you know,

later on, of course, you read Dante's Inferno and, you know, as an English major, you're always

contemplating these themes of good versus evil.

Sandman, which centers these, and it's almost like if you like Game of Thrones, if you love

mythology as I do, you will really like Sandman because it brings to life the relationship between

dreams and death and desire and turmoil and heaven and hell,

you get to really play those out.

And I'm loving that.

It also reminds me of this, I think it's an HBO show where Orlando Jones played a couple of different.

He played Nancy.

You know, he's the hold of the ship and the slaves are, you know, the enslaved people and he's given his speech. It's, I think it's called

the city of gods or something like that. It reminds me of that. But there was something very
