Summary

The first week of the new year is a crucial time for integrating the intentions we set and adjusting our course as needed. This meditation provides a space for mindful reflection on how the week unfolded, allowing us to identify what's working, what needs adjusting, and how to stay aligned with our goals. It's a chance to refine our approach and ensure we're moving forward with intention and clarity.

This is a BONUS 7-day meditation series offering you a longer, guided meditation. These are the same meditations I share daily on the Sip and Om meditation app that you can access for an entire week free. Enjoy!

Welcome to the final episode of this first week of your brand new year.

And I wonder how you're doing with your challenge.

0:20.3

I wonder if you are enjoying reflecting on your word that you chose and if you put it around

0:27.5

your space where you're likely to see it and if you're already starting to attune to that

word.

0:35.4

I also wonder what you selected as your quest. The quest is such an important

0:45.2

part of your year and I like to choose a quest every single year and I've been doing this for

0:53.4

more than 10 years. And where I got the idea to do this is because I

0:59.9

read a book by Chris Gullaboo. And he wrote a book called The Happiness of Pursuit. So it's a spin on the really famous book called The Pursuit of Happiness.

1:16.8

So this happiness of pursuit has you selecting a quest. And I was so inspired by that book

1:25.6

that that is when I started selecting a quest every year.

And now I look forward to it.

1:32.9

And sometimes people are pretty surprised that I select a quest to devote a lot of my time to throughout the year.

1:43.8

But when I explain to them why I do it, they come

1:48.8

away inspired as well. So I hope to spread this quest idea to others. And maybe you could do

the same. Maybe you could share it with your loved ones, your friends, and you can all quest together.
