Summary

Be guided with powerful visualizations and guided imagery to help you access your inner resources of strength, courage, and resilience. You'll learn to create an internal sanctuary where you can find refuge, restore your inner balance, and tap into your inherent capacity to overcome challenges.

This is a BONUS 7-day meditation series offering you a longer, guided meditation. These are the same meditations I share daily on the Sip and Om meditation app that you can access for an entire week free. Enjoy!

THIS WEEK'S SERIES

Often, our struggles aren't caused by the challenges themselves, but by our resistance to them. This meditation series explores the power of acceptance and non-resistance as key components of resilience. Welcome to episode 3,022 of your daily guided meditation. I'm Mary Meckley and I'm honored to share with you

0:11.7

this week's special series that carries you through the second week of a brand new year as you navigate a new year. I'm sharing this series with you as a replay.

0:26.2

I'm taking a little time off at the beginning of this year and I'll be listening, as always,

0:32.5

to the meditations right along with you. And this is from a series I recorded last year at this exact time.

0:41.5

And the reason why I selected this series over the nine other years of series that I could have

0:50.3

replayed from the second week of a new year because I've had my recordings for 10 years.

0:57.9

I've been doing this for 10 years. Well, I wanted to select this one for you because it was a popular

1:04.7

series and people really enjoyed a lot of the insight I shared during this series. So I thought that I would share

1:15.1

this particular series with you at this time. And many of you have also reached out to me. I

1:22.2

always appreciate your messages letting me know that you are working on being more resilient.

1:31.5

And that's what this series is all about.

1:34.6

And so you're learning techniques and insight to be more resilient.

1:39.3

If you listened to this series last year, and I know many of you, have been listening for

1:46.2

many years to the meditations I share, you always benefit from listening to different series.

1:55.9

In fact, I have a couple apps and podcasts I follow where I listen again and again to the different insights

2:07.0

and also some of them have to do with, for example, fitness. And it's important to hear these

2:15.4

messages often and again. New information is great, but when you

2:21.2

fine tune something by really delving into it deeply and listening to it again and again,

2:30.0

this is where you notice the benefits. And I also share this with you because one way to become more resilient is to do just that.

2:40.6

What I just shared is to review information, insight, messages, your journal recordings,

2:56.5

review it often because it's this review that allows you to see patterns and also to take it to heart. When I studied the tea ceremony in Japan, we were not

3:04.7

allowed any books. It was from one heart to another, and we would be practicing
