Hello everybody, welcome back to the Primal Potential podcast. I am Elizabeth

0:05.9

Benton. This is our consistency 365 series, a special year-long series we are

0:12.0

doing in between our regular Monday and Saturday full-length episodes. These

0:18.2

mini-sodes in the consistency 365 series are all about how to build

0:24.0

consistency in your very normal life. How do you build consistency when you have

0:31.9

late nights at work? When you have days where you just don't want to, you really

0:37.6

don't want to, and on top of not wanting to, you are really convinced that you

0:41.9

don't care. That's what this series is all about. Today I want to share with you, oh

1:18.5

work-related. I don't play games on my phone. I'm not one that usually

1:23.0

scrolls a whole lot on Facebook. It's usually communication with friends and

1:27.9

family or work, but still, right? It's not about what I'm doing. It's the point

1:34.9

that if I spend hours a day on my phone in total and I spend 20 minutes fully

1:45.9

focused on my husband, that's important to note. It doesn't mean that Chris should

1:54.3

get more devoted time for me in a day than my phone does because realistically I work

2:00.5

on my phone and we have three young kids and that's just probably not gonna happen.

2:05.4

However, the awareness helps me course correct. The awareness of that that, hey, I need

2:13.9

to be giving more time devoted to my husband and I want him doing the same. It helps me

2:21.8

in the moment when we're in the same room and the kids are asleep or otherwise occupied
