I talked to a lot of my clients in a consistency course about their desire to rebel and

I want what I want and I don't want to tell myself no and they get to this place where they tell themselves they don't care even though they do care and they'll often describe it as this defiant sort of toddler-like mindset of I'm just going to do it. I don't really care. It doesn't

matter. I don't care what I said. I'm not going to tell myself no. Almost like if they make a

decision to be disciplined, they're rallying against that,

and just a defiant act of rebellion. And here's the thing. If you are going to choose the ice cream,

choose to buy the shoes to blow the budget,

to skip the workout, are you accepting and owning

the consequences as much as you're accepting and owning the choice

because in that moment you're very much saying I want the ice cream and I don't
