Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the primal potential podcast. I am Elizabeth Benton.

This is our consistency 365 series. Thanks so much for spending a little time with me.

I was just thinking about, I had a picture of it in my camera roll and I think it must

0:14.9

have popped up in my memories, but years ago, maybe like six or seven years ago, I went

0:20.5

to one of those pottery places with my sister, my mom, I think, and I made a mug and

0:29.4

on it, I put sit, stay, heal, like the dog commands, but heal wasn't the dog following you

0:39.6

heal. It was heal as in get better. Sit, stay, heal, H-E-A-L. I never brought the mug

1:58.8

at that time. And so I say, hey, come, let's read a book. But I believe that one of the most

2:03.6

effective things that I can do for him is just let him be disappointed. And he's not going

2:09.5

to stay disappointed forever. But I don't want to train him to feel like he can't just be

2:16.4

disappointed and we need to spin it or escape it or or lure him away from that with something

2:22.2

else. Because as adults, I see that constantly where you're stressed or you're frustrated.

2:29.0

And therefore you turn to food. You turn to alcohol. You have to distract yourself from
