Hello, how are you doing as you get ready to do one of the most important things you could

0:06.7

do for yourself all day? And that is to give yourself a little more peace, energy and

0:13.6

clarity as you meditate. Welcome to the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Mechley and this

0:21.6

is episode 2,918. This is day two of the series. We're exploring this week. You are being guided

0:33.2

with the insight and meditation techniques from your fellow meditator Andrea Nicolette Gonzales.

0:42.2

And she selected the theme, the art of not giving up. And you can listen to her interview in yesterday's

0:51.6

episode and get to know her a little better. Well today I'll share some insight prompted by the

1:00.3

interview with Andrea as well as an affirmation that Andrea selected. It is in fact an affirmation that

1:11.1

she repeats every day and she was a little hesitant to share it at first because this affirmation

1:55.4

your day before the worries and cares of the day, have emerged, your mind is fresh. And so this is a

2:05.0

great time to repeat an affirmation. But really the best time to repeat an affirmation is when

2:11.5

you think about it. So this is a great affirmation for you to repeat, to feel confident and empowered.

2:21.2

And this affirmation certainly helped Andrea on her recent quest that she started during the

2:30.4

pandemic. I had issued the quest challenge during the pandemic and she took me up on it. But it

2:38.6

didn't happen overnight. Your quest is a journey and it could take some time for you to achieve

2:48.8

what you're questing for. Or it may happen more quickly. For Andrea during the pandemic,

2:56.0

like most of us, she had a lot of time to think. So when I issued the quest, she thought about

3:05.7

what is it that she really would like to do. And she realized that she wanted to resume her love and
