| 1:56.0 | Andrea started by spending time at her parents' house in Texas where she's from. |
| 2:03.0 | And it was during the pandemic so she had a lot of time and she was thinking about what is it that she really would like to do with her life? |
| 2:15.0 | What would she like to do? She was a teacher. She was passionate about teaching but what else would she like to do with her life? |
| 2:25.0 | And she realized how much she was missing art. She loves art so she started doing art. |
| 2:36.0 | And then she ended up getting a job in San Francisco in one of the most iconic high schools in the city. |
| 2:45.0 | And she opened up an art program there. Well, she decided she wanted her own art studio. |
| 2:56.0 | So she had no idea how to begin to get her own art studio. She did not have the finances or any resources to do this. |
| 3:08.0 | She started to make phone calls, do a little research, one person led to another person, one piece of information led to another. |
| 3:18.0 | And before she knew it, she found out about this grant. No one thought that she would complete the incredibly extensive process to complete the grant. |
| 3:32.0 | But she did and she got the grant. She now has her own studio in downtown San Francisco. |
