So, Daniel created an affirmation that I'm going to guide you through today.

The affirmation will make a little more sense when I share with you what comprises an adaptogen.

An adaptogen must have three qualities.

The first one is it must be non-toxic, meaning it must have minimal side effects.

So, if you're taking too much of it, you don't have to worry about pushing yourself over the edge,

because your body can only use no more than a given amount, unlike medications or even other plants and herbs, where you could overdo it and actually harm yourself or not use enough and then not receive all the benefits.

The second quality of an adaptogen is that it must be non-specific.

That means it's not going to push your body in one way or another.

Adaptogens build adaptive energy in your body rather than to exert stimulation or relaxation.

They encourage balance.
