This week I'm sharing with you from an interesting book called The Magic Presence.

And this is by God-free Ray King.

It's a book I came across after I heard it mentioned on a podcast I was listening to.

And I checked it out because I spent a lot of time in the Mount Shasta area in Northern California while I was growing up.

I have family members who are from that area.

And this book has to do with myths of some of the ancient civilizations throughout the world,

including one that is supposedly to have existed in the Mount Shasta area.

So the book is basically about how important it is to monitor and control your negative thoughts.

And also in the book they share a lot about how best to go about meditating.

Meditation as a way to tap into that best part of who you are.
