This is CBS I on the World. I'm John Bachelor. I welcome Chris Regal, the CEO of scholar.com, a

global technology firm transforming the retail space with digital signage. This is the scholar report and we begin in

China because of the CHIPS Wars. You will recall that the U.S. has in some fashion imposed tariffs or in some cases complete

blocking of the access to the highest end chips by the People's Republic of China or its surrogate investment arms.

However, the question remains whether that can work very long because it's an arms raise about chipmaking.

Over these last weeks, for those of you who followed the market,

it will not be a surprise to you to learn that

Envedia, the former gamer, gamer and also you could use their boards

for making cryptocurrency, has turned into a monster on Wall Street going up every day for the week climbing

into the atmosphere because it has said it has no rivals.

Chris has taught me to how to think about

NVIDIA in combination with a firm from Europe called ASML that builds the bus

size machinery called fabs.

I've been watching more and more the market's reactions to not only

NVIDIA, but also ASML, which I believe is now the highest traded stock in Europe,

or near two, these two firms, are they all by themselves in making the highest end chips, the chips

that are necessary for not only artificial intelligence, but this golden ring they're chasing called artificial general intelligence is it
