Today on the pod, I'm speaking with Food, Entrepreneur and Author, Catherine McCord.

Over the past decade, Catherine has built a healthy living empire.

She's written three books, including The Latest, Smoothie Project, which came out in December,

founded the Healthy Eating Destination, Wheelicious.com, and launched the organic, family-friendly

Food Delivery Service, one potato.

Along the way, she has amassed a devoted following who looked to Catherine's food as fun

approach to making meal time enjoyable for the entire family.

But when Catherine's career began, it didn't involve the food or wellness space at all.

She actually started in front of the camera as a model in the 90s for iconic brands like

Calvin Klein, and she hosted MTV's Love Live.

She's here to tell us all about changing lanes and her foray into food.

So, Catherine, we like to start at the beginning on this podcast.

So, what did you study in school and what did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

Well, I thought that I was going to be a journalist.

I was like, Diane Sawyer, Jane Paulie, any Katie Curric, I just, like, idols for me.

The college part becomes interesting because I started modeling when I was 13.

So, part of the deal with my parents was that to model, I had to get, like, straight A's.
