Today, I'm speaking with Sally Christensen, the founder and CEO of the brand Revolutionizing

Workwear for Women, Argent.

After reading hard and upsetting stats that women in the workplace are judged based on their

appearance, Sally set out to create a brand that would provide bold, practical and professional

clothing options, helping women suit up to level the office playing field.

Since Argent's launch in 2016, the brand has struck a chord with women across all industries

and amassed a loyal following including Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem, Kamala Harris,

Aquafina, and Elaine Welteroth.

Argent has also raised over $6 million in VC funding and, in addition to their online

business model, they also have retail locations in California, New York, and D.C. with plans

to continue expanding.

But of course, since this is Second Life, you know that this wasn't Sally's initial career

path.

She actually spent 10 years working in the Bay Area as a tech and finance exec before pivoting

into the world of ready to wear.

I can't wait to share Sally's story of how her first life uniquely positioned her for

her second.
