Brent Fortune, you've been in coffee longer than anybody I possibly could have ever known.

That's weird.

Tell us a little bit about what you're doing right now and how you got started in coffee.

Right now I'm living in Southern California, where I was born and raised, for the most part.

So there's like levels.

There's when you talked about, you know,

giving positive feedback or finding something positive in the score sheet,

I feel like there's another sub-level to that to where understanding

and maybe be an advocate for different rule changes,

understanding how coffee evolves.

And I think of like the face-melter shock in terms of like Jared's performances,

the longer extractions than were technically allowed by the score sheet.

Yeah.

And kind of pushing for those things on the barista's end.
